Hymn 148

VERSE 1
O! Give thanks unto the Lord
His mercy endureth for e’er
O! Give thanks and praises to God,
Raise your voices and sing,
Blessed be the Lord of host.

VERSE 2
O! Give thanks unto our God,
Lord of heaven, sea and the earth
By Him were made heaven and earth
The sun, the moon and stars,
Blessed be the Lord of Host.

VERSE 3
O! Give thanks unto our God,
For He is good, praise Him for e’er,
Sing, O! ye servants of the Lord,
O! praise Him, for His love
Endureth for e’er with us.

VERSE 4
O! Give thanks unto the Lord
Ye chosen ones of the most High
Praise ye Him, praise our Lord and King
For His love endureth,
Lo! Through all generations.

VERSE 5
O! Give thanks unto the Lord,
His mercy endureth for e’er
The Lord is good, mighty to save
His grace is seen on earth
God of ages still the same.

Amen
