Hymn 23

VERSE 1
In majesty, the Lord Himself has come on earth
Forever, He will live; will never die as people think
Let the celestial and terrestrial choirs all sing
In unison, their praises to the Lord of Host.

VERSE 2
He was rejected, when last He came to this earth
His mighty works of love they saw, although were not convinced
Let us now, great homage and deepest reverence pay
To Him, who, in majesty has come down on earth.

VERSE 3
Behold Olumba, Lord and the Greatest Teacher
He is the rock on which we do stand, though fools call Him names
With long suffering, patience, love and mercy and grace
He tend’ly attends to us; what a loving God!

VERSE 4
Let us, the lucky ones in this generation
Proclaim Hallelujah unto Great Leader Olumba
Let all His chosen ones praise and magnify Him
May we practise His teachings that we dwell with Him.
