Hymn 272

VERSE 1
My soul, give thanks unto your God,
And rejoice in His boundless grace,
The Lord is good and of reverence;
And with a shout praise thou His name.

VERSE 2
My soul, give thanks unto your God,
My entire life is by His love;
Arise, His praises join to sing;
The Lord is worthy of praises.

VERSE 3
My soul, give thanks unto your God,
Remain in reverence before Him,
Of multitude of sins, repent,
The Lord will surely you receive.

VERSE 4
My soul, give thanks unto your God,
For all the good things of this life,
The wind and water, rain and sun,
Are but the handiwork of His.

VERSE 5
My soul, give thanks unto your God,
He has chosen you, not of works,
Not of righteousness or of deeds,
By His grace the Lord chooses you.

Amen
