Hymn 273

VERSE 1
Love is the new covenant of our Lord;
Love is supreme, love reigneth here on earth,
God’s love had been in the beginning;
Love will thrive now and for ever more.

VERSE 2
By love, He made everything here on earth;
It is the word of the Lord God on high;
The Lord our Creator did use love
To create things on earth and heaven.

VERSE 3
Let all the people on earth, love possess;
'Tis what He wants from this generation
So that we may all pow'r be given
As heirs of the New Kingdom of God.

Amen
