VERSE 1
When oppressed by worldly cares,
And astray my heart is gone,
Mostly then, I need Thy care,
My Redeemer, Obu

Refrain
Receive me, Redeemer, receive
My life I pledge to Thee, ( to Thee)
Thou art my defender, (my defender)
For now I come to Thee.

VERSE 2
When in temptation, I tread,
And wand'ring on life's pathway,
Thou me, Great Olumba, lead
Wherever I may wade.

VERSE 3
Thou, the Rock in which I hide,
When there is a storm in life;
Thou me, my great Saviour hide
Until the storm has ceased.

VERSE 4
Lit me thus, Thou lights of life,
Enable me trace my path;
Thou, to the world, art the light
And Everlasting Life.

VERSE 5
The future before me lies;
What to do, I dare not know;
Which e'er path my feet shall ply,
Me, Lord Olumba, guide.
