VERSE 1
Come ye to the Lord
With penitent hearts,
Olumba is good
He ne’er forsake us;
The storms and the waves;
His voice rebuketh
The wicked He punisheth,
With mercy He saves.

VERSE 2
Conflicts encountered
Make me follow Thee;
Afflictions I have
Shall all pass away;
Should sorrows linger,
Steadfast shall I be,
For Thou with me abideth,
Thy love, me sustains.

VERSE 3
The blind and the lame
I am, O! Good Lord,
The work of my hands
Before Thee is nought,
O! Thou great saviour,
The only ruler,
A broken and contrite heart,
Thou wilt not despise.

VERSE 4
Besides Thee, none else
I have, O! good Lord
O! Father divine
Leave me not alone
Come now, Saviour, come
My comforter be;
In Thy fold, O! gracious Lord
May I be, I pray.

VERSE 5
Thou O! Lord alone
For ever I seek;
I do acknowledge.
My sins, gracious Lord,
Against Thee, Father
Alone have I sinned;
I'm full of deceitfulness;
Forgive me, I pray.
