VERSE 1
Spirit of the Lord, abide in me
Let me joyfully be every day
May Thy presence be felt around me
Wheresoever I may be, dear Lord.
VERSE 2
Thou Spirit of light, be my mentor
Guide me in the path of righteousness
And shine as the sun within my heart
That I may completely be Thy own.
VERSE 3
Father grant me the spirit of might
As rock of defence against my foes
And be Thou Lord, my great defender
For with Thee, I will be victorious.
Amen
