VERSE 1
O! Lord my God, have mercy on me;
Let my request be set forth before Thee;
Incline my heart, Lord not to
Any evil, I pray

VERSE 2
Leave not my soul desolate, I pray,
For my eyes look upon Thee, O! my God;
Spread Thy hands and protect me
When in the midst of wolves.

VERSE 3
O! Lord, I cry unto thee this day;
Keep me away from evil, Lord, I pray,
Set thou a watch around me
Thy protection I plead.

VERSE 4
Keep me from snares which they lay for me
And sins of workers of iniquity
Let me, Lord, escape withal
By Thy mercy, I pray.
