Hymn 406

VERSE 1
O! Come Thou Holy Spirit of love,
To lead and teach us the right way
That we may follow Thee
As our guide in this life’s journey.

VERSE 2
Come, spirit of God, as was written,
That Thou will come to lead aright;
Thou art on earth with us,
Teach us to follow Thee O! Lord.

VERSE 3
Come, Holy Spirit of life and peace,
Descend on us right from on high,
Let peace abide with us,
That we may live in perfect peace.

VERSE 4
Come, Holy spirit of light and shine,
Shine on our ways, shine on our souls,
And darkness cast away,
That we for ever walk with Thee.

VERSE 5
Come, Holy Spirit of truth and joy,
Come like the rain and wash us clean,
Come and dwell in our hearts,
Grant us peace and serenity.

Amen
