Hymn 409

VERSE 1
When my pathway is beclouded
And destination can't be reached,
O! gracious Lord, be my stay and guide,
And let Thy light, Saviour, lead me on.

VERSE 2
When I over laden, do weep,
When life turns sore, weary and rough
Still, Thy path way, I maintain the same,
Be my helper, draw me nearer Thee.

VERSE 3
Abide with me, O! great Saviour,
Thou, the great guardian of my soul,
Keep me by Thee, hide me with Thy wings,
Till all earthly battles fought are won.

VERSE 4
When tempted by earthly passion,
And my trust in Thee fades away,
Great Redeemer, full of compassion
Descend on me, strengthen Thou, my faith.

Amen
