Hymn 417

VERSE 1
We come before Thy throne of Grace,
To receive Thy peace
For Thou O! great Lord, dost call us,
O! Olumba give us Thy peace.

VERSE 2
As poor sinners, have we all come
Before Thee, O! Lord.
Father, let satan not prevail;
O! Olumba, Thy love abide.

VERSE 3
Like the prodigal son, we come.
To Thy presence, Lord.
Though our sins be red as scarlet,
Great Olumba, Thy mercy show.

VERSE 4
Like chosen children of the light,
Obeying Thy call,
Since the tempter is all around,
Hold us, great Father, lest we fall.

VERSE 5
Thou hast said that in the last days,
Thou shalt be our God,
And we shall all Thy people be;
Thy promises fulfil O! God

Amen
