Hymn 422

VERSE 1
Have mercy upon me, Lord
O! Forgive my trespasses
I have done this evil in Thy sight
Forgive me, O! Lord, I pray.

VERSE 2
Have mercy upon me, Lord
Remember no more, my sins
For in sin my mother conceived me
Forgive me O! Lord I pray.

VERSE 3
Wash me Lord, I shall be clean
Make me whiter than the snow
O! make joy and gladness flow in me
My broken bones will rejoice.

VERSE 4
Cast me not away, I pray
Take not Thy spirit from me
Joy of Thy salvation Lord, restore
Uphold me with Thy spirit.

VERSE 5
Open my lips O! my Lord
My mouth shall sing of Thy praise
My tongue shall sing of Thy righteousness
Thou art worthy of praises.

Amen
