Olumba, the reader of my heart
Hear me when I cry
Have mercy upon me O! Father
Listen to my prayer.

Let my tears pass directly to Thee
God of my refuge
Let your ears not be closed unto me
Refrain me from my sin.

Cast me not away from Thy presence
Build me a strong fence
Renew my faith as my strong defence
My face not as offence.
