Hymn 490

VERSE 1
Today if you will My voice hear,
O! do not harden your heart,
As in the day of provocation
That day of great temptation.

VERSE 2
Your Fathers put Me then to test,
They saw Me, My works proved they;
For forty years in the wilderness,
That generation grieved Me.

VERSE 3
Lo! in their hearts, they erred always
For they did not heed My words;
In wrath, I swore they’ll not have My peace
Or ever My presence feel.

VERSE 4
I am the True Spirit divine,
Believe and ne’er tell Me nay,
Lest ye from My path will always stray
From My peace and love divine.

Amen
