VERSE 1
Olumba, hearken unto us when we call Thee,
Thy dear name we all adore;
Let every tribe and every tongue on bended knee
Worship Thy glorious name.

VERSE 2
When other friends desert us and our comfort flee,
Make Thy name our only hope;
When sore oppressed with affliction and temptation
May this name bring relief.

VERSE 3
From the riches of the world no vantage we have,
All our treasure is Thy name;
The name victorious over death and the hades,
Great Olumba Obu.

VERSE 4
From our sinful ways good Father, deliver us;
Keep us by Thy pow'rful name,
For Thou wilt not Thy chosen allow to perish
Cause of Thy noble name.

VERSE 5
Blessed is he that calls on this most Sacred name,
Leader Olumba Obu;
He is the giver of life in heaven and earth,
This name, let all adore.
