The Lord is my light and He is my defence
My Saviour, my shelter in days of trouble
I’ll call upon the Lord and He’ll answer me
Rock of my salvation in days of trouble.

In joy or in sorrow, I call on His name

Redeemer of oppressed, the Lord is His name.

The Lord is my joy and my joy is the Lord’s

My joy is so great when I call upon Him
