VERSE 1
In Bethlehem of Judea our Lord was born,
In a manger, the Saviour was laid
In swaddling cloth, white and clean He was wrapped,
Hail Emmanuel.

VERSE 2
Gloriously, a bright star, arose from the east,
Indicating the birth of the Lord;
Wise men followed it carrying precious gifts,
For new born King

VERSE 3
"Where is the nations’ King that is born to us,
Whose star, we all have seen in the east?
We’ve come to give Him glory and honour"
Hail Emmanuel.

VERSE 4
With these precious gifts, we come to worship Him;
Gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh;
Showing kingship, priesthood and purity,
Hallelujah!

VERSE 5
Let us rejoice and sing praises to the Lord
For his wondrous love towards us all,
For the Almighty God now dwells with us,
Hail Emmanuel.
