Hymn 603

VERSE 1
In Jerusalem they will torture me
And they will kill me, in three days I will rise
Jesus said these things to His disciples
Peter said these things can’t happen unto you.

VERSE 2
Jesus took Simeon Peter, James and John
To Gethsemane and told them, watch and pray
That ye enter not into temptation
For the son of man must go as twas written.

VERSE 3
Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus Christ
Thirty pieces of silver they gave to him
The Son of man goeth as twas written
But woe unto him who betrayed Him to death.

VERSE 4
Pilate judged and condemned Jesus our Lord
They crucified Him on the cross for our sake
On the cross, He prayed Father forgive them
For they know not what they have done unto me.

Amen
