Love and sorrow met when He was crucified
The Lord came and He was not magnified
Yet He bore the pains He carried the burden
Man has returned to Garden of Eden.

Though his wife warned him, my lord never hasten
To judge Jesus Christ, he never listened
He is a just man, He comes, sinners to save
The path of goodness the Lord came to pave.
VERSE 3
Life everlasting Jesus Christ has given
Our pains and sorrows the Lord has driven
He has made us to for e’er freedom attain
The lost glory of man is now regained.
