Hymn 627

VERSE 1
The jews nailed the Lord Jesus on the cross
They gave Him Vinegar and put Him a crown of thorn
For sinners sake, our Lord and king was crucified.

VERSE 2
Pilate found no fault with the Lord Jesus
The jews shouted aloud and said crucify Jesus
Release Barnabas and crucify Lord Jesus

VERSE 3
Eli Eli Labasabathani
The Lord cried on the cross and then He gave up the ghost
He died on the cross to repeal our sentences.
