Hymn 641

VERSE 1
The Lord having arranged the Passover,
For His disciples, broke the bread
When the eating was done, He said to them,
'I'm going to my Father".

VERSE 2
"Tribulations in the world, thou shalt see,
Since thou art in the world of woe;
Lo! I am and always will be with you,
Yea! Even unto the end.

VERSE 3
Unto His disciples, He again said,
'When the great shepherd shall be killed,
Scattered shall all the flock be without Him
Once more, I'll return to you.

VERSE 4
Judas Iscariot, through love for money,
Betrayed Jesus unto the Jews;
Thirty pieces of silver were his dues;
Our Lord was nailed to the cross.

VERSE 5
The Blood of Him who was nailed to the tree,
For sinners, redemption has brought,
Granting His love, grace and mercy to man,
And right of Sonship divine.
