The Lord on the cross gave
His life as a ransom
That man should not perish,
Redemption given

VERSE 2
Wonderful love of God
The sinless is condemned
The sinners pardon grant
Christ has set us free

VERSE 3
In shame and bitter pains
The Lord our sins removed
By His own sacred blood
From His riven side

VERSE 4
Grace and life eternal
His blood to man has brought
Lift your voices earthers
Adore your saviour
