Hymn 673

VERSE 1
The Lord had to come down on Earth,
Suffer and die for our sins.
Lo! He was nailed unto the tree,
Died descended to the grave

VERSE 2
On the third day He rose again,
Vict’ry over death, He gained
Conquered the grave victoriously,
And ascended in glory.

VERSE 3
There is jubilation in heav'n,
Here on earth His peace remains;
All that have breath, your voices raise,
In praise of the King of love.

VERSE 4
In His mercy and boundless love,
He did redeem us by grace,
From Satan's bondage us release,
Into His glorious Kingdom.

VERSE 5
Let the people of God rejoice;
For the Lord has conquered grave;
In songs and dances let's rejoice,
His glory to us extends.

Amen
