VERSE 1
He is risen from death to fulfill His assertion
That He will destroy this temple
He will rebuild it, He will rebuild it
After three days, halleluia He arose
VERSE 2
He has taken away tribulation and sorrow
For He is the saviour of man
He has giv’n us grace, He has giv’n us peace.
We have been set free from the bondage of sin.
VERSE 3
For the former things are gone forever in our lives
Everything is now made anew
Our tears He has wiped away for ever
We are set free, halleluia He arose.
VERSE 4
All the nations rejoice, all the races O! Be glad
The gates of hell He has broken
For He has overcome darkness and death
Let the earth sing Halleluia He arose.
Amen
