VERSE 1
Thy words which Thou, O! Lord givest day by day
Thou Lord, hast sanctified and made us all hear
And in our hearts, Thou hast them implanted
That we may all live in truth.

VERSE 2
Both heaven and earth were all made by the word
And by the word, everything that is, was made
The word was with God and was God Himself
Now Thou givest us the word.

VERSE 3
Now is the word made manifest here on earth
Now here on earth to teach man the path of life
In Him is life and the life is the light,
And in darkness shines the light.
