Hymn 774

VERSE 1
Lord, Thou hast spread Thy gospel
Into the hearts of all men;
They fall on a fertile ground,
Bearing good fruits many folds.

VERSE 2
O! may Thy gospel, great Lord,
In the hearts of Thy children,
Dwell and change them in Spirit
And make them worthy of Thee.

VERSE 3
O! use Thy gospel, great Lord,
For remoulding the whole world,
And make mountains become plains,
By Thy words O! Olumba.

VERSE 4
May Thy gospel, O! Great Lord,
Tend and draw to Thee all sheep,
That there may be just one flock,
And Thou the only Shepherd.

VERSE 5
Give the pow'r to Thy people,
Not to be only hearers,
But doers of Thy gospel,
And flee not on judgement day.

Amen
