VERSE 1
From the inception of this world, truth was hated
Truth, though bitter as vinegar
Yet saves those who stood by it always.

VERSE 2
Many were killed for truth, even John the baptist
Jesus Christ the Lord, crucified
They held firm unto the truth till death.

VERSE 3
Brethren hold unto the truth, the Lord is with you
He will not let you to see shame
For He’s the Lord of truth who defends.
