Hymn 779

VERSE 1
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
Thy word is a light unto my path
My hiding place, my shield, Thou art
My life, my all, Thy loving word.

VERSE 2
Uphold me according to Thy word
That I may live and be not dismayed
O! Lord, Thy words art wonderful
Before all, I shall testify.

VERSE 3
With mercy, look upon Thy servant
Thy face shines on them that love Thy word
Great peace have they, who trust in Thee
And those who love Thy words love life

VERSE 4
Teach us Thy word, O! Lord! to practise
Thou art the word and Thou art the life
Thy word is true as Thou art true
Peace profound through Thy word, we have.

Amen
