Hymn 843

VERSE 1
He created them all, both male and female
And He made the female, helper unto man,
And commanded them, to live in unity.

VERSE 2
Wherefore has man left his mother and father,
To another house, to join to a woman,
As one flesh and blood, living together then.

VERSE 3
Unto them, God made a commandment of life:
"You, the man will rule and head the family,
You will always love, also protect your wife".

VERSE 4
"Woman, you will love and obey your husband.
And submit to him, who will rule over you:
Together, you'll live, in sorrow or in joy".

Amen
