Hymn 844

VERSE 1
It is so good for a man not to touch a woman
To avoid fornication, ev’ry man should have a wife.

VERSE 2
And let the husband render the due benevolence
Unto his own beloveth wife, and likewise the woman.

VERSE 3
The wife hath not the power over her own body
But her own beloveth husband and likewise the husband.

VERSE 4
O! do not defile yourselves, save it be with consent
You must put yourselves to fasting and be fervent in pray’r.
