Hymn 855

VERSE 1
Before Thy presence Father of heav’n and earth
Is there a little child
O! Bless its journey into the world
O! Father of heaven and earth.

VERSE 2
Father of heav’n and earth before Thy presence
Is there a little child
Let it rise above all fears on earth
Let it hold fast to you Father.

VERSE 3
Give it the strength required, throughout this movement
O! Let it stumble not
Holy Spirit lead this little child
That it may live for God always.

VERSE 4
Let it help to lift up they that come to it
Take away evil pride
Give it the power beyond its own
To be of help to its people.

Amen
