Hymn 861

VERSE 1
Let thanks, honour, dominion be Thine forever,
The Creator of mankind, the only true God
At dawn Thy mercy wakes us up, let Thy name be praised
Throughout the day, Thy goodness abides with us all.

VERSE 2
Even as we toil all day, Thy grace’s ever sure
Thy protection great King, we all can boast of
For Thy grace and goodness great Lord is all that we know
Father of the fallen race, let Thy name be praised.

VERSE 3
Lion of the tribe of Judah, the all wise God
Leader OlumbaObu, O! let thanks be Thine
For Thy love was sufficient to us throughout the night
And in this new day, may we be sheltered by Thee.

Amen
