VERSE 1
As I woke up, I saw a bright morning
When I slept, memories were gone
Someone was incharge
Of my body and soul.

My Father Olumba
Who neither sleep nor slumber
He is the reason I am alive.

VERSE 2
As I woke up, I felt stronger in deed
Better than I was in the night
We thank Thee, Father
The sustainer of man.

VERSE 3
As I woke up, the pains in me vanished
Pains that held me before I slept
Someone cleared away
And left my body healed.

VERSE 4
As I woke up, I felt joy inside me
The Lord told me, I will succeed
Someone spoke the word
That varnished all my fears.
