Hymn 88

VERSE 1
Sing and shout of Olumba’s praise
Who is the most glorious king
Heaven and earth all that therein
Are under His own command.

VERSE 2
Let us sing to the King of kings
Lord of lords and Prince of peace
Ye his people, with a loud voice
Join to sing; in Him rejoice.

VERSE 3
The birth of the new earth is seen
And a new heaven in Thee,
For the Lamb dwells amongst men now
His glory seen everywhere.

VERSE 4
Wants, pains and misery removed
As well as tribulation
From our eyes, all tears wiped away;
Joy and peace all day abound.

VERSE 5
No more sorrows, no more weeping,
All are gone for ever more,
Death and hades have passed away;
The new kingdom now prevails.

VERSE 6
O! great Father make the whole earth
Join to sing Thy praise fore’er;
May we Thy instruments remain
To fulfil Thy will in all.

Amen
