Hymn 928

VERSE 1
Holy Spirit of pow’r
Be with us while we pray
Lord may this evening hour
Be spent on pleasing Thee.

VERSE 2
Holy Spirit of light,
As darkness o’er us spread,
Keep us under Thy wings,
Till the new day we see.

VERSE 3
Holy Spirit of light
In Thee is all our faith;
In all our bloom or blight,
Shine on our souls O! Lord.

VERSE 4
Holy Spirit of light,
Brighten our hearts this night;
We seek Thee for a guard,
Till the new day we see.

Amen
