Hymn 943

VERSE 1
Blest are those who, in the Lord, sleep
For, in the Lord, they, who sleep will rise
Into His glory and His might
And everlasting life.

VERSE 2
Weep not, give thanks to the Father
Lo! He who is Omniscient knows all
In humbleness and faith, proclaim
"Father, Thy will be done".

VERSE 3
To the saints, death is, but a call
For a complete rest from worldly cares
When toil, yea, labour is no more
Tribulations unknown.

VERSE 4
Man is the dwelling place of God
The spirit of God abides in him
Who, when the spirit doth depart
Crumbles and goes to dust.

VERSE 5
For the departed, weep no more
They’re transformed to immortality
By the will of the Lord, in whom
Death can never exist.

Amen
