VERSE 1
Blest are they who, with their whole heart
In Christ Jesus, sincerely believe
And practise those things which He loves
While in this world of ours.
VERSE 2
A voice from heaven doth proclaim
"Blessed are they who die in the Lord"
That they may rest from their labour
And their works follow them.
VERSE 3
In the Lord, those who have their sleep
Have eternal rest for their spirit
In the land of the righteous ones
Through our Lord Jesus Christ.
VERSE 4
How beautiful is the city
Dwellers there live in peace and in joy
Our Lord Jesus protects them all
'Tis abode of the saints.
Amen
