Hymn 967

VERSE 1
Lord in this new year our hope is in You
Former things are gone past away from us
All things are made new in this new year
Glory be to God most High.

VERSE 2
Onward to the lord, be not discouraged
For things of the past, they are gone for e'er
The ancient of days is now reigning
Glory be to God most High.

VERSE 3
As the year passed by so, your sorrows gone
Fear not little soul, your God is with you
He shall not let you stumble and fall
Glory be to God most High.

VERSE 4
O! in this new year, Lord we hope in You
Let not our prayers be in vain Father
For in Your presence there are mercies
Glory be to God most High.

Amen
