VERSE 1
Thou art the only King
And the sole comforter
Give Thy ear, O! Lord to the pray’r,
We offer in Thy name.

VERSE 2
Let us in peace abide,
And to love every one,
That all the nations of the world,
May accept Thee, O! Lord.

VERSE 3
In Thy mercy, O! Lord,
Our perversion destroy,
May we be united in one,
By Thy love and Thy peace.

VERSE 4
Lord, our iniquities,
Remember them no more,
Because of Thy first love for us
Hear our prayer, O! Lord.

VERSE 5
Watch over us by night;
Watch over us by day;
And when the war is raging high,
Watch over us, O! Lord.
