Hymn 387

VERSE 1
When in trouble, we call,
Yearning with much pleading
Unto Thee, O! Father,
Dear Lord, be our helper.

VERSE 2
Hold us by Thy hands, Lord,
To us, impart Thy zeal,
To love one another
As Thou has commanded.

VERSE 3
Let us vices eschew,
And in virtues abide,
That we may shun evil,
And obey Thy orders.

Amen
