VERSE 1
otect Thy children from peril, my Lord and King;
And from crafty wiles of demon's crew, defend us,
That we may safely abide in Thy loving hand.

VERSE 2
We beseech Thee Lord, throughout the day and the night
By Thy goodness, let not temptation o’erpower;
In our daily work, be Thou our guide everywhere.

VERSE 3
By Thy mighty hand, O! Lord protect us, we pray;
Grant us the pow’r of our daily work to perform,
That Thy divine light may brightly shine for our souls.

VERSE 4
Fill our hearts, O! Lord, with perfect joy of Thyself;
May heavenly peace abide with us all the time,
And let Thy goodness remain with us forever.
