VERSE 1
The Lord Jesus suffered for us,
On the Cross of Calvary.

VERSE 2
He hung and cried, "my God, my God,
Why hast Thou forsaken me?

VERSE 3
His hands, His feet, nailed on the tree
And His blood was shed for man.

VERSE 4
"Forgive them Father, for they do
Not know what they do", He prayed.

VERSE 5
Though unfit, unworthy we are,
Lord forgive and wash us clean.
