Hymn 667

VERSE 1
Once again, O! Brethren, the joyful Easter tide
Drives away the fear we have over death;
Jesus Christ, our example, triumphantly riding
O'er death and grace, completes the work of salvation.

VERSE 2
He comes, a judge for both, the quickened and the dead;
All His foes shall be arraigned before Him;
From pole to pole, He shall reign over all that is made;
His Name above all other names remains supreme.

VERSE 3
Thus, Christians will dwell in hope and love the brethren,
And sing the praise and honour to our God,
Who's leading us to that promised Kingdom filled with joy
Call Him universal Father, greatest, teacher.

Amen
