Hymn 681

VERSE 1
Christ is risen from the death.
Hallelujah! praise His name.
For us, He has conquered death,
Hell is vanquished in His name.

VERSE 2
Angels from highest heaven,
Confirmed truly He arose;
Unto Galilee, hasten;
There, the Lord Himself exposed.

VERSE 3
Christ when risen from the death,
Foiled the sting of death out right,
The grave, no more should man dread,
All are made alive in Christ.

VERSE 4
Victoriously, He arose,
The lost from hades, He brought,
Freed from everlasting woes,
Man, with His blood, He has bought.

VERSE 5
Come O! Ye children of men;
Worship Him that gave His life.
A ransom to save us all,
That stumbled from sin of Eve.

Amen
