Hymn 719

VERSE 1
Behold, there appeared a great wonder in heaven,
A woman was clothed with the sun,
And the moon was also under her own feet, placed,
And a crown of twelve stars placed on her head.

Refrain
Ibum Olumba Obu has given birth to the Father,
She is worthy of our praises.
Ibum OlumbaObu, greatest Mother of our age:
May all nations now rejoice with Thee.

VERSE 2
The woman, who was in labour, cried, travailing
In great pain about to deliver,
And she brought forth a man child who cometh to rule
All the nations now with an iron rod.

VERSE 3
We rejoice with our Mother, Ibum Olumba
Sufficient is her glory to us;
Grace and peace from her is extended to nations,
Greater is no other mother than her.

Amen
