Hymn 920

VERSE 1
In this eventide, O! Lord,
On Thee I solely depend,
Protect Thy servant from harm
O! Lord, I pray.

VERSE 2
In this eventide O! Lord,
Let Thy bosom be my bed,
That I may wake up with joy,
O! Lord, I pray.

VERSE 3
In this eventide O! Lord,
Let Thy angels, me protect,
To drive off evil forces,
With Thy great might.

VERSE 4
In this eventide O Lord,
The earth is quiet and dark,
In bed as a lump, I lay
On Thy bosom.

Amen
