Hymn 679

VERSE 1
On the third day He arose
And ascended to the Father above
Jesus the Christ is risen from death
Rise up ye Christians and jubilate.

VERSE 2
Thomas, when He heard the news
That Lord Jesus Christ had risen from death
He doubted them, he doubted the news
Lo! When Christ appeared He then believed.

VERSE 3
All our sins, Christ died with them
On the third day vict’ry to us He brought
The keys of death and the key of life
He holds in His hands, hallelujah.

Amen
